/ Member Cities

A network of twenty cities.

ICFG brings Cities of Gastronomy together around a shared commitment to food waste prevention and circular food systems.

Each city has its own food culture, infrastructure, institutions, businesses and environmental priorities. What works in one city must be adapted — not copied — in another.

/ Framework

One framework, different local solutions.

ICFG does not seek to impose a single solution. Instead, it provides a shared framework through which cities can:

  • Understand their food waste — how much, where and why.
  • Identify opportunities for prevention.
  • Develop appropriate circular solutions.
  • Measure progress using credible methods.
  • Exchange knowledge with peer cities.
